Because the Council believes in shaping young leaders, the counselors at Cooperative Leadership Camp award five campers with Cooperative Leadership Awards.  These awards honor these young people for outstanding and responsible leadership, demonstrating team-building skills, cooperation, dependability, volunteer-ism and courtesy.  These youth are among the best of leaders and are honored at the camp banquet.  The awards night has been a tradition that has been  each year for nearly 30 years.
