The Council supports working with the legislature, especially to promote cooperatives and the agricultural industry.  We host a bi-annual Legislative Breakfast in Raleigh, usually held in conjunction with our Annual Meeting, to allow our members to visit with state legislators.   Partnering with other organizations to hold events and attending regular legislative activities allows us to support cooperatives through our legislative policy.
