Induction into the North Carolina Cooperative Hall of Fame is the highest honor that the cooperative community bestows on individuals who have made significant contributions to cooperatives in the state. Criteria for selection includes demonstrating innovation, personal commitment, leadership and vision to the advancement of cooperatives; achieving lasting changes to improve and promote cooperatives; commitment to cooperatives through years of service; and individual contributions to the community. Council members can nominate an individual for this honor by submitting the nomination application. Honorees are inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Council's Annual Meeting luncheon.
